From Waste to Strategic Resource
Globally, trillions of tonnes of tailings contain recoverable precious metals, rare metals and critical elements.
The patented technology opens a new era of mining that is:
-
clean
-
regenerative
-
safe
-
sustainable for future generations

High Recovery, No Environmental Compromises
The patented technology offers:
-
90–95% recovery rates for gold and silver
-
complete elimination of cyanide from the process
-
removal of tailings ponds and containment dams
-
recovery of rare metals and critical elements
-
recirculation of over 90% of water used
-
final inert, safe, and reusable tailings
The process transforms mining waste into an economic resource without generating long-term environmental risks.

Cyanide-Free Technology for Gold and Silver Extraction
The patented OSIM No. 126480 technology represents a fully ecological industrial solution for gold and silver extraction, permanently eliminating the use of cyanide from the mining process.
Developed through a 10-year research programme, the technology was tested at a pilot plant using over 10,000 kg of real samples, demonstrating performance, safety and industrial scalability.

A Safe, Controlled and Regenerative Process
The patented method extracts gold and silver by replacing cyanide with an ecological chemical system, based on:
-
sodium thiosulphate, as a dissolving agent
-
copper ions, acting as a catalyst
-
ammonia, used in strictly controlled concentrations
-
gentle oxidation processes, without aggressive reactions
-
near-total water recovery from the process
The entire system is non-toxic, industrially controllable and adapted for continuous operation under safe conditions for both personnel and the environment.
High Versatility for Complex Mining Materials
The technology can efficiently process a wide range of mining materials, including:
-
refractory pyritic gold concentrates
-
historical tailings
-
flotation tailings
-
chemically treatable metallurgical slags
-
siliceous gold ores
-
refractory arsenical pyrites
-
refractory auriferous carbonic pyrites
This versatility allows the valorisation of both active mines and historical tailings deposits, previously considered waste.
Designed for Industry, Not Just for the laboratory
The technology is designed for rapid and efficient implementation in existing mining infrastructure:
-
approximately 85% of an existing plant’s equipment can be reused
-
low conversion costs
-
modernisation of old mines and reopening of closed operations
-
reduction of industrial and environmental risks
The process can be integrated without halting production or major restructuring.
Mobile Technology, Applied Directly On-Site
The technology enables the development of mobile modular mini-plants, operated directly on tailings piles or in small- to medium-sized mines.
Benefits include:
-
elimination of ore transport
-
reduction of logistical costs
-
creation of local jobs
-
reduction of migration
-
rapid valorisation of existing resources
